Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola has won 103 matches in the Champions League, overtaking Sir Alex Ferguson’s total in the process.
The Premier League champions scored twice in the last 10 minutes to claim a 3-1 win over RB Leipzig.
Phil Foden’s first-half goal had been cancelled out and it looked as if City’s dominance wouldn’t be enough until Julian Alvarez and Jeremy Doku both scored.
The win takes Guardiola above Ferguson’s haul of 102.
It now means only Carlo Ancelotti, who has won 108 games and remains in the competition with Real Madrid, is ahead of him.
Ancelotti is also the only coach with more Champions League titles than Guardiola, winning four while Guardiola has three.
City are looking to become just the second club in the Champions League era to defend their crown.
