The Hope Conspiracy have just made a surprise return with their first release in 14 years! The Confusion/Chaos/Misery EP is out now digitally via Deathwish–the followup to 2009’s True Nihilist EP–with vinyl arriving on January 12.
The EP was engineered by Kurt Ballou and Zach Weeks, and it includes three new songs that lean into the band’s darkest, heaviest, fastest side, along with a perfectly-suited cover of Swedish crust/D-beat legends Anti-Cimex’s “Dogfight.” It’s already got us excited to hear more, and that may very well become a reality; a press release says, “This is just the beginning…”
