Nigerian rapper Erigga recently made controversial remarks about relationships that spurred debate online. In a post he made on the X platform, he joked that men should “wise up and get themselves up to 7 different women and settle down.”
While meant lightheartedly, the comment did not sit well with some fans. They accused Erigga of promoting infidelity and unhealthy relationship norms.
This is not the first time Erigga’s humor has raised eyebrows. However, the rapper continues earning praise for his gritty storytelling and wordplay on tracks like “Welcome to Warri” and “Motivation.”
