Everything’s coming up Usher right now. He’s getting ready to perform at the Super Bowl Halftime Show on February 11 as the San Francisco 49ers face the Kansas City Chiefs (maybe Taylor Swift will be there), and he’s been doing some video interviews about that lately, which you can watch below.
He’s also playing Confessions in full for its 20th anniversary at Las Vegas festival Lovers & Friends, and he’s gearing up to release a new album, Coming Home, on February 9 via mega/gamma. He just revealed the 20-song tracklist, which features recent single “Good Good” (ft. Summer Walker & 21 Savage), “Risk It All” (ft. H.E.R.), Usher’s remix of Jung Kook‘s “Standing Next To You,” as well as the just-released “Ruin,” an Afrobeats-leaning song made with Afrobeats producer Pheelz. (And that’s not the only Afrobeats on the album; Burna Boy guests on the first song.) Check out the video for “Ruin” (directed by Dave Meyers, who also directed Usher’s classic “U Remind Me” video) and the tracklist below.
The Super Bowl airs on CBS and Paramount+ and can also be streamed on YouTubeTV, Hulu + Live TV, and other live TV providers. Kickoff is at 6:30 PM ET on Sunday, February 11.
