Jane Schoenbrun‘s new A24 fantasy/horror/dreamscape I Saw the TV Glow arrives in theaters on May 3, and after revealing the stacked list of artists appearing in the soundtrack, they’ve now announced more details. The 15-track soundtrack will feature new songs from L’Rain (“Green”), Caroline Polachek (“Starburned and Unkissed”), Bartees Strange (“Big Glow”), Florist (“Riding Around in the Dark”), The Weather Station (“Moonlight”), and Sloppy Jane featuring former member Phoebe Bridgers, both of whom appear in the film (“Claw Machine”). The soundtrack also features Hop Along‘s Frances Quinlan, Maria BC, King Woman, Jay Som, Drab Majesty, proper., yeule, and Sadurn, and you can see the tracklist below.
yeule’s rendition of Broken Social Scene’s iconic “Anthems for a Seventeen Year-Old Girl” soundtracks the trailer, and now the full studio version of the song is out, too. It’s a glitchy, fragmented, hallucinatory take on the song that suits yeule’s style, and the mood of the film, well, and you can hear it below.
I Saw the TV Glow also features an original score by Alex G, and the soundtrack is out on May 10. Watch the trailer below.
